Calderdale Housing Campaign

What you can do?

DEBATE: Do we need any more houses in Calderdale, or have we already got enough? What should we do now? Send your comments or join our discussion group and we'll post them on the website *

DEVELOPMENTS NEAR YOU?: Let us know what's happening in your part of Calderdale, and if a site you want to protect is threatened by development. *

ADVICE: Use the campaign as a forum to exchange experiences, views and advice *

ALERT the campaign to housing developments that need to be challenged or opposed. If you can include the planning application number (e.g 05/00699 ) that will be very helpful.

HOUSING APPLICATIONS: Register your comments or objections to housing schemes online - via the Council's website

LOCAL COUNCILLORS: Contact your local councillors to let them know your views

CONTACT the campaign if you want to join in or can help

* The Calderdale HousingİCampaign is promoted by Calderdale Friend of the Earth, and supported by the Calderdale Sustainability Forum.İİThe views expressed on the site do not necessarily represent those of these two organisations, or the views of any other contributing organisation or individual.

This campaign, and website, is about the future of housing in Calderdale, and possible future housing developments. It is NOT the forum to raise concerns that people might have about the pastİactivities of individual housing developers or existing housing developments (which have already been built); if you have such concerns you should express than elsewhere. Nor should you contribute inaccurate or derogatory statements about individuals or organisations; contested housing developments are an emotive subject but debate will not be helped by inaccuracy or abusive statements. Contributions which do not meet these standards will not be displayed; any statement in breach will be removed on notification
